Bikeguide "Blu Bike - Free Biking a Finale Ligure", published in June 2006, describes very detailed the most beautiful trails and mountainbike tours of the region of Liguria. This area has become one of the cult destinations for bikers within the last ten years. Languages: Italian AND English!

The route descriptions contain three different levels of skills, maps, altimetry, the lengths of the different tours as well as the amount of paved roads, small stony and rocky paths and singletrails. On this basis every nature loving biker will be able to explore this region on his own. Additional information on places of interest along the chosen path included.

The guide is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on cross country trails, different varieties of the 8 introduced tours allow everyone to match the tour to their level and need.
In the second part the freeride trails of the region are described. All different routes are indicated on one overall map. In the description of each trail there is shown the starting point as well as the exact course and the characteristics of the descent are described.
The third part consists of racing bike tours on the many small and lonesome mountain roads.The different tours are also shown on one map and then explained seperately in detail.
All introduced tours have additional information about the best season to enjoy the route.
The region of Liguria and the action of freeriding are shown vividly on many photographs taken by Andrea Gallo, who works as an outdoor photographer.

The authors Fulvio Balbi, Elisabetta Belmonte und Andrea Gallo all live in Finale Ligure and therefor have a very detailed knowledge of the most beautiful spots of this region and the outdoor scene there. They were involved to a great extent in making this territory enjoyable for mountain biking and climbing, which explains the uniqueness of this guide.

In May 2006 Sebastian Runschke and Roland Schymik ("The Alps Experience" / "Trailhunter Gardasee") videotaped the different outdoor activities like rock climbing and mountain biking around Finale Ligure for the new DVD "Trailhunter Finale - Mountainbiking in Finale Ligure". There they met Andrea Gallo and soon realized that they all have the same passion for the great outdoors and sports. The DVD will show many of the routes described in the Guide and therefor they decided to also sell his book in Germany. It will be the perfect match to the DVD where the described routes will be brought closer to the audience with the dynamics of moving images.
