On conventional transalp routes the focus often is on the drivability of the route. As a result bikers often miss out on the most beautiful and secluded landscapes.
The 'Trail Transalp Tirol' is quite different. Through hard ascents, where you sometimes have to carry your bike, you reach singletracks never seen by bikers before.
The tour starts in Seefeld/Tyrol and goes almost straight in southern direction to Meran.

Seefeld, Zirl, Kemater Alm, Seejöchl, Starkenburger Hütte, Pinnisjoch, Gschnitztal, Sandestal, Sandes Jöchl, Pflerschtal, Ridnauntal, Schneebergscharte, Pfelders, Spronser Joch, Dorf Tirol (Meran).
