Im Jahr 2008 präsentiert die Hochburg des Bikesports gleich drei hochkarätige Bike-Events.
Das Highlight ist die Europameisterschaft MTB Cross Country vom 16. bis 18. Mai 2008. Die Europameisterschaft, die bereits 2001 in St. Wendel stattfand, brachte auch im Jahr 2008 fast die komplette Weltelite an den Start. Zumal es auch um die Qualifikation für die Olympischen Spiele in Peking ging. Die Rennen der Europameisterschaft wurden auf dem bekannten Weltcup-Kurs St. Wendels ausgetragen.
Die DVD bietet eine Zusammenfassung des Events. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf den Rennen der Elite Frauen und Elite Herren.
